52434 (2024). Hon Julie Anne Genter to the Minister of Transport: Did the New Zealand Transport Agency prepare and/or provide any advice to support the drafting of proposed Land Transport Rule: Setting of Speed Limits Rule 2024?

Hon Simeon Brown: Yes. I am advised by the NZ Transport Agency (NZTA) that it has helped with drafting the proposed Land Transport Rule: Setting of Speed Limits 2024. The NZTA has also provided advice to the Ministry of Transport as part of the process to draft the new rule.
