52357 (2024). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Social Development and Employment: What teams, business units, and functions in the Minister’s departments, if any, have lost 30% or more FTEs since November 2023, and how many FTEs have they been reduced by?

Hon Louise Upston: I am advised by the Ministry of Social Development (the Ministry) that FTEs have reduced from 9,502.5 FTE on 30 November 2023 to 8,678.9 as at 21 August 2024. No Business Groups have reduced by 30 percent. There have been some decreases in FTEs within small teams that result in decreases of over 30 percent. However, these are due to internal reporting line changes and are changes of less than 5 FTEs.
