52336 (2025). Dr Lawrence Xu-Nan to the Minister of Education: How many, if any, foreign contractors worked on the draft curricula that the Ministry of Education has released this year; listed by no. of foreign contractors that worked on each of the learning areas released?

Hon Erica Stanford: One. I am advised that the Ministry of Education engaged Learning First, an Australian-based education consultancy, to provide advice and provide content to support the development of the strengthened national curriculum. Their insights help to benchmark internationally while ensuring the curriculum remains tailored to the needs of New Zealand learners.
