52336 (2024). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Transport: What advice, if any, has the Minister received on the impact of public service cuts, if any, within their department, if any?

Hon Simeon Brown: MoT: I am advised that the Ministry has not had significant job losses impacting ministerial work priorities. CAA: I received advice on the impact of a 5% reduction to the Civil Aviation and Maritime Security appropriation through Budget 24. Also, a Cost Recovery Impact Statement was provided as part of a Pricing Review sets out the impacts of not increasing Civil Aviation Authority fees, levies and charges. NZTA: I have not received any advice from NZTA on the impact of public service cuts.
