52319 (2025). Tangi Utikere to the Minister for Workplace Relations and Safety: How many “ride alongs”, if any, have WorkSafe staff undertaken with Road Controlling Authorities (RCA) in each month since the road cone hotline was established and how do those numbers breakdown by RCA?

Hon Brooke van Velden: I am advised that WorkSafe staff have undertaken 22 shared ride-alongs in conjunction with Auckland Transport, New Zealand Transport Agency, Wellington City Council, Christchurch City Council, Tauranga City Council and the Western Bay of Plenty District Council. Further ride-alongs are planned for Taupō District Council, Hastings District Council and Napier City Council.
