52318 (2025). Tangi Utikere to the Minister for Workplace Relations and Safety: How many monthly impact questionnaires regarding outputs and impacts of notifications of possible road cone overuse referred to them by WorkSafe have been sent to each Road Controlling Authority and how many have been returned by those authorities?

Hon Brooke van Velden: WorkSafe New Zealand has advised me that three monthly surveys have been sent to Road Controlling Authorities (RCAs) regarding the outputs and impacts of the road cone hotline for the months July to September 2025. Sixty-eight RCAs participated in the surveys over this three-month period. (Note: Only RCAs that receive notifications through the road cone hotline in each month are sent surveys by WorkSafe, and it is not compulsory to respond.)
