52300 (2024). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Revenue: What advice, if any, has the Minister received on the impact of public service cuts, if any, within their department, if any?

Hon Simon Watts: As part of the Budget 2024 Baseline Savings Exercise, Inland Revenue provided advice on baseline savings options and their respective impacts to meet its savings target. The baseline savings initiatives announced as part of Budget 2024 were: - Reduction in operating expenditure - Reduction in Systems Maintenance and Change Capacity Details of the advice provided in relation to Budget 2024 initiatives will be released publicly as part of the proactive release of Budget material.
