52239 (2025). Lan Pham to the Minister for Biosecurity: How much money, if any, has been spent on exotic Caulerpa management in the 2024/25 financial year so far?

Hon Andrew Hoggard: I am advised that the amount spent to 5 November 2025 on the exotic caulerpa programme (the Programme) has been $9,925,599. Funding for the Programme has focussed on a range of activities, with the most significant being the development of removal tools, research to better understand the impacts, and public information to help reduce the risk of human-mediated spread of exotic caulerpa.
