Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Lead Coordination Minister for the Government's Response to the Royal Commission’s Report into Historical Abuse in State Care and in the Care of Faith-based Institutions: Further to 33398 (2025), how many, if any, new claims have been registered between 2 July 2025 and 30 October 2025?

Hon Erica Stanford: Between the 1 July and 30 September 2025, 1,056 survivors have registered new claims across all core State redress agencies. This represents a 114 percent increase compared to the number of claims received in the April-June quarter. Figures for 1 October - 31 December 2025 will be available in February 2026.
