Teanau Tuiono to the Minister for Māori Crown Relations: Te Arawhiti: Does the Minister agree with the statement from Te Hunga Roia Māori - The Māori Law Society that 'We are witnessing an unprecedented erosion of Māori rights in modern times. The deliberate dismantling of Te Tiriti-based frameworks represents not only a breach of international human rights obligations, but a direct attack on the rule of law and the constitutional foundations of Aotearoa' and if so why and if not why not?

Hon Tama Potaka: I do not agree with that statement. This Government is not dismantling Te Tiriti-based frameworks.
