Hon David Seymour: I am advised that there was a total increase of 4.55 FTE across Pharmac when comparing total FTE figures for the quarterly period ending 30 June 2024 against the quarterly period ending 31 December 2023. I am further advised that a breakdown of the teams, business units, and functions is not available in the level of detail requested within the timeframe of Written Parliamentary Question. Obtaining this information would require Pharmac to divert staff from their core duties in order to undertake a substantial manual collation exercise. In accordance with Speaker’s Ruling 185-6, I consider that the time, and hence the expense, of answering the Member’s question is not in the public interest.
