Hon Chris Bishop: Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities advises me that it does not lease individual units within the Church Street apartment building, it leases the entire building. To calculate the costs on a per unit basis, Kāinga Ora would have to divert personnel from their core duties to provide the information sought by the Member. In accordance with Speaker’s Ruling 210/6, I consider that the time and expense of answering the Member’s questions is not in the public interest.
