52184 (2025). Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Minister of Housing: Further to Written Parliamentary Question 50157 (2025), how many applicants on the social housing register could have been accommodated in those homes if they had been tenanted during that period?

Hon Chris Bishop: Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities advises me that each unit is able to house one to two people. However, due to repairs, the 22 units referred to in the response to WPQ 50157(2025) were not all suitable to be tenanted throughout the periods they were vacant.
