Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Minister of Housing: Further to Written Parliamentary Question 50157 (2025), what repairs are being carried out on the 22 leased units at the Church Street apartment building in Wellington, and for each unit, what is the reason for the repair; when did repair work start; when is it expected to be completed; and what is the estimated cost of the repairs?

Hon Chris Bishop: Kāinga Ora - Homes and Communities advises me that as of 7 November 2025, only one of the 22 vacant leased units referred to in my response to WPQ 50157 (2025) at the Church Street apartment building was undergoing repairs. Kāinga Ora is considering repair options for this unit.
