52178 (2025). Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Associate Minister of Housing: What has been the total amount of Kāinga Ora rent arrears written off or forgiven in each of the past five financial years, broken down by year?

Hon Tama Potaka: I refer the Member to the attached table provided by Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities. Kāinga Ora systems do not separate rent and damage debt that has been written off. The attached tables include both these types of debt.
