52062 (2024). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Arts, Culture and Heritage: What teams, business units, and functions in the Minister’s departments, if any, have increased FTEs since November 2023, and how many FTEs have they been increased by?

Hon Paul Goldsmith: I am advised that as part of organisational change work several teams, business groups and functions of the Ministry for Culture and Heritage have been reshaped, realigned or combined since November 2023. The overall functions of the Ministry have continued within the reshaped structure, no functions have been disestablished. Of the five Groups currently across the Ministry, one Group has seen a reduction of over 30% FTE since November 2023. This Group is Te Iho Corporate Services, which has seen a reduction of 23.25 FTE. This is due to two functions moving over to Te Toi Office of the Secretary. Te Toi is the only group to increase since November 2023, by 12.4 FTE, due to pre-existing teams being realigned into this Group.
