Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister for Courts: How many staff employed at the ministries, agencies and departments for which the Minister is responsible have signed non-disclosure agreements since 27 November 2023, listed by agency, role title and the date the agreement was signed, if any?

Hon Nicole McKee: I am advised the Ministry of Justice does not use the terminology “non-disclosure agreements”. Between 27 November 2023 and 21 August 2024, the Ministry of Justice has signed thirteen (13) Records of Settlement under section 149 of the Employment Relations Act 2000 that contain a confidentiality clause.
