51821 (2025). Teanau Tuiono to the Minister for Treaty of Waitangi Negotiations: What contributions, if any, has the Minister or any office they are responsible for made to inform the Governments position on the upcoming United Nations Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination (CERD) in its 23rd and 24th periodic UN reviews by date and title?

Hon Paul Goldsmith: I'm advised that information was provided by Te Tari Whakatau to the Ministry of Justice on 21 July 2025 and on 17 October 2025 for the 23rd and 24th periodic United Nations Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination CERD). These contributions were in relation to security of tenure over lands and natural resources, the Wairarapa Moana land and resources rights case and the Marine and Coastal Area (Takutai Moana) (Customary Marine Title) Amendment Bill.
