51745 (2025). Shanan Halbert to the Minister for Children: What funding changes, if any, has there been to funding allocated to organisations or provision provided by Oranga Tamariki on the North Shore during the past 18 months?

Hon Karen Chhour: I have interpreted the Member’s question to refer to contracted services. I am advised Oranga Tamariki contracts support services across the North Shore as part of the agency’s Central and Northwest region. Total funding for contracted services that have a specified delivery area and provision within, but not exclusive to, the North Shore over the last two years is provided below: • FY2023/24 - $16.7 million • FY2024/25 - $17.5 million Note, the above figures don’t include services that are available and provisioned nationally and thus would also be available across the North Shore if required.
