51709 (2024). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: In which publications or websites, if any, were the roles of regional directors for Health New Zealand advertised and on what dates did those advertisements run?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that as the Regional Deputy Chief Executives were appointed for a fixed term ahead of making permanent appointments, a truncated appointment process was used which included a search approach to forming a shortlist. I am further advised that Health New Zealand will run a full appointment process for the permanent Regional Deputy Chief Executives, including national and international advertising in publications.
