51661 (2025). Camilla Belich to the Minister for Trade and Investment: How many, if any agencies for which the Minister is responsible have reduced staff numbers since 2023 while maintaining or increasing their total office space holdings?

Hon Todd McClay: I am advised that NZTE has maintained its total office space holdings within New Zealand, except for a Palmerston North office closure in May 2024, which had no impact on staff numbers as NZTE has maintained its presence in the Manawatu region from other offices. Additionally, NZTE has sub-leased 994 square meters of space in its Wellington office to other Government agencies.
