51658 (2025). Camilla Belich to the Minister for Tourism and Hospitality: How many, if any agencies for which the Minister is responsible have reduced staff numbers since 2023 while maintaining or increasing their total office space holdings?

Hon Louise Upston: I am advised that as a result of reduced staff numbers, Tourism New Zealand no longer has a Beijing office. This office was previously shared with MFAT. Tourism New Zealand also expects to reduce its Auckland and Wellington office size as the leases for these locations come to an end. I am told that TNZ has not increased its office space in any locations.
