51610 (2025). Camilla Belich to the Minister for Māori Crown Relations: Te Arawhiti: How many, if any agencies for which the Minister is responsible have reduced staff numbers since 2023 while maintaining or increasing their total office space holdings?

Hon Tama Potaka: This question relates to a period before and after the transfer of the Māori Crown Relations functions from Te Arawhiti to Te Puni Kōkiri on 24 February 2025. For the period since 27 November 2023 until 23 February 2025 I am advised that Te Puni Kōkiri consulted Ministry of Justice as it does not hold this information. The Ministry of Justice reply is there were no reductions in staff numbers at Te Arawhiti for the Māori Crown Relations function. For the period 24 February 2025 to 3 November 2025, I refer the Member to my answer to written question 51615.
