51602 (2025). Camilla Belich to the Minister of Justice: What is the total floor area and annual cost of all office space currently leased or owned by each agency for which the Minister is responsible, and what proportion of that space is currently occupied by staff?

Hon Paul Goldsmith: I am advised the Ministry of Justice does not own office accommodation. As at 31 October 2025, the total leased floor area for office accommodation is approximately 30,000m2 and current annual costs of office space currently leased is $16.436m. Of this office space, 96% is currently occupied by staff.
