51575 (2025). Hon Jan Tinetti to the Minister for Workplace Relations and Safety: How many, if any, workplace fatalities were reported to WorkSafe during the week of October 20th 2025?

Hon Brooke van Velden: I am advised that WorkSafe New Zealand received eight fatality notifications between 20 October and 26 October. Four of these notifications do not meet WorkSafe reporting criteria, while the remaining four are yet to be assessed.
