51541 (2025). Camilla Belich to the Minister of Corrections: What is the total floor area and annual cost of all office space currently leased or owned by each agency for which the Minister is responsible, and what proportion of that space is currently occupied by staff?

Hon Mark Mitchell: I am advised that the total floor area of all office space currently leased by Corrections is 20,356 square meters with a total annual cost of $7.55 million in financial year 2024/25. Corrections is currently not utilising any owned space as office space. Properties owned by Corrections are used as frontline operational sites. I am further advised that a 100 percent of Corrections’ office spaces are occupied by staff.
