51490 (2025). Teanau Tuiono to the Minister for Space: Does the Minister stand by her decision to approve the launch of BlackSky satellites from New Zealand, despite being warned that they could be used by Israel during the war in Gaza and if so why and if not why not?

Hon Judith Collins: Yes, I stand by my decision. I am satisfied the national interest was appropriately considered. The advice did not include a warning that BlackSky satellites could be used for the situation in Gaza.
