51421 (2025). Tangi Utikere to the Minister of Transport: Further to his response to WPQ 50090 (2025), what funding has been allocated for route protection versus construction over the next three financial years?

Hon Chris Bishop: NZTA has advised me that funding of $187m has been allocated to progress route protection, with priority given for an alternative to the Brynderwyn Hills. No funding has yet been allocated to construction.
