51395 (2025). Hon Dr Ayesha Verrall to the Minister of Health: What quantity of immunoglobulin are available in case of a larger measles outbreak?
Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that, as part of our focus on putting patients first and ensuring all New Zealanders have access to timely, quality healthcare, the New Zealand Blood Service currently holds sufficient stock (391 vials) of immunoglobulin to support a larger measles outbreak. There are no reported issues with the supply chain, and stock levels are expected to remain stable should demand increase.
