51098 (2025). Hon Priyanca Radhakrishnan to the Minister of Conservation: Will funds collected from parking fees at Department of Conservation sites be invested back into those sites and if not, how will those funds be allocated?

Hon Tama Potaka: Funds collected from parking fees at DOC sites will be used to protect biodiversity and improve visitor network facilities and experiences. Sometimes this will be in the region where the fees have been collected; sometimes the most urgent need will be in other regions.
