51088 (2025). Tangi Utikere to the Minister of Transport: What, if any, conflicts of interest been declared by him, his ministerial staff, or officials of the Ministry of Transport or the New Zealand Transport Agency (NZTA) in relation to meetings, correspondence, or decisions concerning land acquisition for Roads of National Significance (RoNS) projects, broken down by project and person declaring the conflict?

Hon Chris Bishop: Providing the information the member has requested will require the manual assessment of over 350 staff conflict of interest declarations, not including a significant number of contractors. In accordance with SR 210/6 I consider that the time, and hence the expense, of answering this question cannot be justified in this case.
