51038 (2025). Shanan Halbert to the Minister of Housing: How many social houses are occupied as a percentage of total housing stock in the Kaipātiki Board of Auckland City Council?

Hon Chris Bishop: Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities advises me that as at 30 September 2025 for the Kaipātiki Local Board area (which includes the suburb of Northcote), a total of 1,412 social housing properties (99.4 percent) were occupied and managed by Kāinga Ora. A further nine social housing properties (0.6 percent) in the area were vacant.
