51034 (2025). Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Associate Minister of Housing: For how many, if any, of the 300 social homes funded in September 2025 for people living rough have providers completed lease arrangements and where are those homes located?

Hon Tama Potaka: I am advised that the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development has issued contract variations to relevant Housing First Providers, with the following allocation of the 300 places: 207 have been allocated to Auckland, 36 to Wellington, 31 to Hamilton and 26 to Christchurch. Providers are now sourcing properties.
