50866 (2025). Camilla Belich to the Minister for the Public Service: What is the projected timeframe for recovering the $80.4m in redundancy payments through ongoing savings?

Hon Judith Collins: I am advised that the Public Service Commission estimates it would take around 4.8 months to recover the $80.4 million in redundancy payments in the year to 30 June 2025, in terms of the base salaries no longer needing to be paid out.
