50766 (2025). Teanau Tuiono to the Minister for Oceans and Fisheries: Does Minister accept the Our Marine Environment 2025 report's finding that climate change is driving significant changes in our oceans, and, if so, does they believe that attempts to drill for more fossil fuels will help or harm our moana?

Hon Shane Jones: I am aware of the Our Marine Environment 2025 report. I am also aware that New Zealand is at risk of large-scale de-industrialisation if we are unable to shore up our domestic supplies of gas.
