50709 (2025). Hon Marama Davidson to the Minister for the Prevention of Family and Sexual Violence: How will the nationally consistent approach to managing risk be monitored for buy-in and be evaluated for success over time?

Hon Karen Chhour: The Centre for Family Violence and Sexual Violence Prevention is currently developing an evaluation and monitoring plan to learn from the roll-out of a nationally consistent approach to risk management. This will include both process and outcomes evaluations. These will assess whether the protocol is being delivered as intended (process); and whether the protocol is achieving what it intends to achieve (outcomes). For example: are the right people being identified to receive support; is there reduced frequency and severity of violence; are wellbeing indicators showing signs of improvement.
