Hon Casey Costello: I am advised that there are two relevant documents for guidance on smoking cessation available to distributors and recipients of vape kits in New Zealand which outline the risks of vaping. These documents are the New Zealand Guidelines for Helping People to Stop Smoking (2021), and the Background and Recommendations for the New Zealand Guidelines for Helping people to Stop Smoking (2021). I am further advised that a national training service provides a Stop Smoking Practitioners Programme and refresher training to Stop Smoking practitioners across New Zealand.
