50564 (2024). Francisco Hernandez to the Prime Minister: What are the median and mean salaries of the staff, if any, of the Minister's department, if any?

Rt Hon Christopher Luxon: In my capacity as the Prime Minister, I am the Responsible Minister for the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC). The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) is a department agency located within DPMC. I am advised that as at the last pay run on 14 August 2024, the full-time-equivalent Median salary for DPMC and NEMA staff was $118,673. The Mean salary for DPMC and NEMA staff was $135,406.
