50541 (2024). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for the Prevention of Family and Sexual Violence: What are the median and mean salaries of the staff, if any, of the Minister's department, if any?

Hon Karen Chhour: As at 30 June 2023, the median salary for Te Puna Aonui business unit was $149,893.00 and the mean salary was $144,825.90. These are calculated using definitions set by the Public Service Commission and uses the average annual full-time equivalent base salary for current and seconded out employees. It includes permanent staff and those on fixed-term contracts.
