50533 (2024). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister for Māori Development: What are the median and mean salaries of the staff, if any, of the Minister's department, if any?

Hon Tama Potaka: I am advised that Te Kawa Mataaho annually releases salary data of staff in the Public Service here: https://www.publicservice.govt.nz/research-and-data/workforce-data-remunerationpay/wage-trends. I am also advised by Te Puni Kōkiri that as at 30 June 2024, the median and the mean (average) salary for kaimahi is $114,142 and $121,365 respectively.
