50517 (2024). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Health: What are the median and mean salaries of the staff, if any, of the Minister's department, if any?

Hon Dr Shane Reti: I am advised that as at 30 June 2024, the average (mean) salary at the Ministry of Health was $136,152. and the median salary was $123,169. This excludes staff on parental leave/leave without pay, casuals, and contractors/external secondees.
