50459 (2024). Hon Dr Duncan Webb to the Minister for Children: Have their been any injuries of staff or youth in the Military Style Youth Academy to date?

Hon Karen Chhour: I am advised by Oranga Tamariki that there has been one injury reported since the commencement of the Military-Style Academy Pilot on 29 July 2024. I am further advised that the injury was a small cut on a finger. It was reported in the health and safety system and no treatment was required.
