Hon Willow-Jean Prime to the Minister for Children: Further to Written Parliamentary Question 37866 (2024), what, if any, are the names of the organisations that had successful expressions of interest in the Intensive Mentoring service for the pilot Military-Style Academy programme, and what date, if any, did they start providing mentoring to the participants?

Hon Karen Chhour: I am advised that Oranga Tamariki has completed the procurement process and identified the successful Intensive Mentor providers who are now in the process of finalising contracts and therefore details are commercially sensitive at this time. I am further advised that the Intensive Mentors had their first face-to-face meeting with the young person they are working with on 21 August 2024.
