50390 (2024). Debbie Ngarewa-Packer to the Minister of Finance: How much funding, if any, has the Government saved from all public sector job cuts, broken down by Ministries, agencies, and departments?

Hon Nicola Willis: At Budget 2024 approximately $2.5 billion in total was saved on average per annum from departments. It is not possible to determine how much of this relates to staffing changes.
