Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Transport: How many staff, if any, were employed in the Minister's departments, if any, on 1 July 2023 that worked on climate change adaptation, categorised by work on corporate/organisational climate adaptation or national climate change adaptation or both?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that there were no staff employed at NZTA on 1 July 2023 that were working on climate change adaptation as a substantive part of their role (75%). As at 1 July 2023 the Ministry of Transport had 1.75 FTE staff working on national climate change adaptation. On 1 July 2023 CAA had one staff member who worked on climate change adaptation.
