50307 (2024). Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Transport: How many staff, if any, were employed in the Minister's departments, if any, on 1 July 2024 that worked on greenhouse gas emissions reduction efforts, categorised by whether they worked on organisational/corporate emissions reduction or nationwide emissions reduction or both?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that 1 person was employed by NZTA on 1 July 2024 with the substantive part of their role (75%) focusing on greenhouse gas emission reduction efforts. As at 1 July 2024 the Ministry of Transport had 0.05 FTE staff working on organisational/corporate greenhouse gas emissions reduction efforts, and 13.5 FTE staff working on nationwide efforts. On July 1 2024 CAA had one staff member who worked on organisational/corporate emissions reduction.
