Francisco Hernandez to the Minister of Statistics: How many staff, if any, were employed in the Minister's departments, if any, on 1 July 2023 that worked on climate change adaptation, categorised by work on corporate/organisational climate adaptation or national climate change adaptation or both?

Hon Andrew Bayly: I am advised that on 1 July 2023, Stats NZ had no staff dedicated to climate change adaptation. As set out in my response to written parliamentary question 50296 (2024), on 1 July 2023 Stats NZ employed one staff member responsible for a range of greenhouse gas emissions reduction matters including organisational/corporate emissions reduction, reporting, and policy.
