50298 (2025). Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Minister of Health: What is the forecast completion date for Hutt Valley Te Whare Ahuru Acute Mental Health Unit, and how has that changed since its inclusion in the Government’s 20 July 2025 Beehive press release titled “Infrastructure projects to drive jobs and growth”?

Hon Simeon Brown: I am advised that, as part of our focus on putting patients first and ensuring all New Zealanders have access to timely, quality healthcare, the forecast completion date for the Hutt Valley Te Whare Ahuru Acute Mental Health Unit is 21 June 2027. This has not changed since our Government's 20 July 2025 media release.
