50270 (2025). Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Minister for Biosecurity: What is the forecast completion date for Plant Health & Environment Capability Laboratory, Auckland, and how has that changed since its inclusion in the Government’s 20 July 2025 Beehive press release titled “Infrastructure projects to drive jobs and growth”?

Hon Andrew Hoggard: I am advised that construction of the Plant Health and Environment Laboratory is on target to be completed by April 2028 to be ready for service in early 2029 as expected. There has been no change to the forecast completion date.
