50268 (2025). Hon Kieran McAnulty to the Minister for Biosecurity: Who are the main contractors and subcontractors currently engaged on Plant Health & Environment Capability Laboratory, Auckland, as at 17 October 2025?

Hon Andrew Hoggard: I am advised that Southbase Construction are engaged under a letter of intent with Crown Infrastructure Delivery to progress construction works on site. A contract to deliver the main construction works for the Plant Health and Environment Capability Laboratory is being finalised. Other contractors have been engaged to support the design and other related activities, the lead contractors being Jasmax, Labworks Architecture and Jacobs.
